Aims: widen the perspectives of youth workers and youth leaders on religion and interreligious dialogue in a human rights context through analysing concepts, realities and ways for developing them through youth work.

Participants: maximum 30 participants

• aged between 18 and 35 years.

• Youth leaders and youth workers who are actively involved in faith based youth organisation or projects and/or;

• Other professionals or volunteers working with young people from different religious backgrounds or intending to develop inter-religious or interfaith projects with young people

Youth Generation NGO with the support of European Youth Foundation is inviting youngster between 18-25 years to participate at the International Seminar in frame of All Different All Equal Campaign "Cultural Understanding as a Conflict resolution" to be held between 22-29 July, 2007 in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.

Participants are not expected to be professional in youth work or theatre. They have to be interested in playing in a theatre performance, find out more about European Campaign "All Different All Equal", about Council of Europe Institutes, Conflict Management and Cultural Understanding.

The project aims to explore cultural understanding as a conflict resolution, also the concepts and issues related to Europe culture and diversity from the perspective of young people and its relevance for the "All Different All Equal" European youth campaign for Diversity , Human Rights and Participation. Participants will have the possibility to attend workshops about conflict resolution, culture diversity and art of theatre. By the end of the project participants will create a theatre performance and will play it to the local audience.

Costs: The hosting organization will be responsible for the accommodation, meal and loading. There will be a small reimbursement of international travel cost on a state budget for priority countries.  There is no participation fee.

Menschen für Menschen International ermuntert junge Menschen, bei unserem europäischen Jugendforum ‚Alle anders – alle gleich’  mitzumachen. Ein Aufruf zu Toleranz, das am 30. Juli bis 5. August durchgeführt wird. Es können zwei schweizerische Teilnehmer mitmachen. Wir würden es sehr begrüssen, wenn Sie diese Einladung in ihrem Netzwerk bekannt machen und auf ihren Webseiten publizieren würden. Anmeldeschluss ist der 2. April.

Programm Höhepunkte: Andersartiges annehmen, tolerieren und herausfinden, wie man es anders machen kann!

• Workschop, um die interkulturelle Sensibilität zu steigern und die Gründe für Stereotypen, Diskriminierung und Rassismus erkennen
• gemischte Kulturen
• Welt Kaffee ‚Alle anders, alle einzigartig’
• Besuch des jüdischen Museums und Theater-Workshop ‚Emigration’
• Stadtrundgang durch Berlin
• Workshops der Menschenrechte im Bezug auf Toleranz
• Präsentation der ‚Alle anders – alle gleich’-Kampagne des Europarates
• Workshop für Projektmanagement und –durchführung

Zielgruppe: Die Teilnehmer müssen folgende Kriterien erfüllen:

• 15 – 17 Jahre alt
• Bürger aus Albanien, Bergien, Bulgarien, Tschechische Rebuplik, Dänemark, Estland, Frankreich, Deutschland, Italien, Mazedonien, Polen, Rumänien, Russland, Schweden, Schweiz, Ukraine und England
• gute englische Kenntnisse
• Interesse an anderen Kulturen und Mitwirkung am internationalen Verständnis
• Interesse an lokalen Organisationen oder internationale Projekte, die Toleranz fördern und hilft, Stereotypen, Diskriminierung und Rassismus zu bekämpfen (im Sinn der ‚Alle anders – alle gleich’-Kampagne des Europarates)

Preis:
Der Teilnehmerbeitrag von 70 Euro für westliche Europäer und 50 Euro für Zentral und Osteuropäer beinhaltet Kost und Logie sowie Aktivitäten während der Veranstaltung.  Reisekosten können bis zu 70% zurück erstattet werden. Visakosten werden nicht von PTPI gedeckt.

Projektwerkstatt "Baustelle Vielfalt" in Deutschland

Vom 15.-18- März findet in Illingen, Saarland, die 2. Jugendveranstaltung Deutschlands im Rahmen der Kampagne "alle anders - alle gleich" statt. Titel der Veranstaltung ist: Projektwerkstatt "Baustelle Vielfalt". In den insgesamt 3 1/2 Tagen können rund 150 Teilnehmer/innen zwischen 14-27 Jahren Projekte zu den Themen Vielfalt und Menschenrechte planen. Für die Workshops konnten jede Menge professionelle und erfahrene Moderator/innen gefunden werden, die sich auch bereit erklärt haben, für die anschließende Durchführung der Projekte beratend per Mail und Telefon zur Verfügung zu stehen. Ferner werden die geplanten Projekte auch als Ideen-Handbuch veröffentlicht.

Von der Schweiz können bis zu 3 Personen daran teilnehmen. Teilnahmekosten entstehen den Teilnehmer/innen keine, Fahrtkosten können allerdings leider nicht übernommen werden.
